Notes
Enable Apple Notes so Assistela can search, read, create, append to, and update notes.
Enable Apple Notes
Open Notes settings
In Assistela, choose Assistela → Settings → Notes.
Enable the source
Turn on Allow Assistela to use macOS Notes.
Allow Automation
macOS asks whether Assistela may control Notes. Choose Allow. If the dialog does not appear, open Settings → Permissions → Notes Automation and click Allow.
Verify the system setting
You can check access under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation → Assistela. Notes must be enabled for Assistela.
What Assistela can do with Notes
- search notes by title or content,
- read the content of a found note,
- create a new note,
- append text to an existing note,
- update an existing note when you clearly ask.
First test
In Apple Notes, create a note titled Assistela Test with a short, non-sensitive sentence. Then ask in Chat: “Find the note Assistela Test and tell me what it contains.”
If Notes does not work
- Open the Notes app manually and confirm that the note is actually visible there.
- Check that the source is enabled under
Settings → Notes. - Check Notes Automation in both
Settings → Permissionsand System Settings. - If you denied access earlier, enable it manually under Automation in System Settings and reopen Assistela.
