Notes

Enable Apple Notes so Assistela can search, read, create, append to, and update notes.

Enable Apple Notes

1

Open Notes settings

In Assistela, choose Assistela → Settings → Notes.

2

Enable the source

Turn on Allow Assistela to use macOS Notes.

3

Allow Automation

macOS asks whether Assistela may control Notes. Choose Allow. If the dialog does not appear, open Settings → Permissions → Notes Automation and click Allow.

4

Verify the system setting

You can check access under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation → Assistela. Notes must be enabled for Assistela.

What Assistela can do with Notes

  • search notes by title or content,
  • read the content of a found note,
  • create a new note,
  • append text to an existing note,
  • update an existing note when you clearly ask.
First test

In Apple Notes, create a note titled Assistela Test with a short, non-sensitive sentence. Then ask in Chat: “Find the note Assistela Test and tell me what it contains.”

If Notes does not work

  • Open the Notes app manually and confirm that the note is actually visible there.
  • Check that the source is enabled under Settings → Notes.
  • Check Notes Automation in both Settings → Permissions and System Settings.
  • If you denied access earlier, enable it manually under Automation in System Settings and reopen Assistela.
