Tool Access तय करता है कि LLM कौन से पूरे action groups देख और सुझा सकता है।
Tool switch वास्तव में क्या करता है
Assistela → सेटिंग्स → उन्नत → Tool Access खोलें। हर switch एक capability group है। Group बंद करने से उसके actions LLM को भेजी list से हटते हैं, इसलिए model उन्हें चुन नहीं सकता।
यह service configuration, macOS permissions और किसी खास action की approval के साथ एक और layer है। Tool बंद करने से मौजूदा macOS permission revoke नहीं होती; यह Assistela को LLM के माध्यम से capability उपयोग करने से रोकता है।

सटीक list installation और active features पर निर्भर है। App checks या meta group चालू रहता है, ताकि Assistela उपलब्ध capabilities जान सके।
Use case के अनुसार सुझाई पहुँच
- Assistela केवल chat के लिए उपयोग करते हों तो browser, files, macOS control, shell और terminal बंद रखें।
- Apple-केंद्रित निजी सहायक के लिए केवल email, calendar, Reminders, memory और चाहें तो Contacts चालू करें।
- Home Assistant केवल छोटी entity allowlist के साथ चालू करें।
- Passwords and Cards केवल protected local web-form filling के लिए चालू करें।
- Shell और terminal technical users के लिए हैं। आवश्यकता न समझ आए तो बंद रखें।
केवल वास्तव में आवश्यक capabilities चालू करें। छोटी tool list जाँचने में आसान है, context बचाती है और model द्वारा गलत तरीका चुनने की संभावना घटाती है।
Assistela tool unavailable बताए तो
- Tool Access में उसका group चालू जाँचें।
- Email account जैसी service configuration जाँचें।
- आवश्यक macOS permission जाँचें।
- अपने LLM के लिए पुष्टि करें कि model tool calling समर्थित करता है।
- बदलाव के बाद नई Chat खोलें या साफ़ नया अनुरोध भेजें और safe read-only action जाँचें।
